Entry Requirements to Study MD MS in the UK
Applicants to the Clinical MD/ Research MD in Internal Medicine must have:
- An MBBS or equivalent degree from an internationally recognized medical school.
- Three years post MBBS experience including one year of internship at a hospital and must supply their Certificate of Completion.
- Normally have completed one year of internship (Internship may have been completed as an integral part of medical School Training
- Should not be any unexplained gap in their post-MBBS career.
- Should not have appeared and failed to pass the PLAB examination.
- Must have some post-graduate qualification such as MRCP part one, DNB, or Diploma in their own country, these Requirements may be relaxed under special circumstances for Applicant for Substantial clinical Experience (Please Enquire Prior to UCSWorld)
- An IELTS score of 7.0, with a minimum of 6.5 in each section.
- A reference letter confirming that all previous training in medicine has been in English.
- Completed their undergraduate training and be fully registered with the Medical Council in their respective countries.
- Two-character reference letters from any member of their medical school academic staff, or from their current senior medical colleagues and consultants.
- Letter of Recommendation in case of Work Experience.
- Medical Certificate & HIV Certificate.
- Parents Bank Statement (At least for the Past 6 Months).
- Affidavit Certificate Confirming who sponsors the Student’s Education
It should be including the following Details-
- The degree took, together with all modules & Grade.
- Details of the research project undertaken, together with the title of the Research Project, The Project Supervisor, and a brief outline of the Project.
- A List of any Prizes and awards including summer studentship or research placement.
Personal Statement
- An explanation of your interest in the particular project you wish to study.
- An indication of your experiences in the research area and technique you already required or wish to develop.
- An explanation of your Motivation and an outline of your career aspiration.
